Each year approximately 600,000 incarcerated Men and Women are released from American correctional facilities. For the most part, they return to their communities uneducated, unskilled, unemployable and prime candidates for recidivism. On Sunday, 16 July 2017 from 3:00 P.M. (E.D.T.) through 4:00 P.M. (E.D.T.), the USA International Men’s Day Team will host a National Teleconference on Restorative Justice which explores OPERATION FRESH START™, a multi-tiered results-oriented blueprint for eradicating recidivism and creating pathways to reintegration and redemption crafted by The Honorable James M. DeLeon. A highly respected and veteran jurist in the Criminal Division of Philadelphia’s Municipal Court, Judge DeLeon is the architect of OPERATION FRESH START™. Judge DeLeon will explore a number of components of OPERATION FRESH START™, which include, but are not limited to the Mayor’s Mentorship Initiative, the Goldman Sachs Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative and the German Workforce Skills Initiative – initiatives which draw a straight line to eradicating recidivism, creating economic sustainability, and renewing prosperity in communities throughout the United States.
